With a 14-year history and the distinction of being Indiana’s first pari-mutuel horse racing business, Hoosier Park is launching a new era this June when it completes its expansion as Hoosier Park Racing & Casino. Centered around the theme of “We will thrill you!,” the new entertainment destination is the first of its kind in Indiana, and promises a spectacular experience for a broad range of audiences.
Today marks the launch of its new website and advertising campaign, which feature the new identity and product offerings. In addition to the new logo, the property has developed a comprehensive branding strategy to help drive its transformation into a fully integrated gaming, racing, dining and entertainment experience.
The expanded website – hoosierpark.com – showcases Hoosier Park’s updated look and identity as an overall entertainment destination. In addition to comprehensive racing information – which was a key component of the old site – visitors can now access expanded information for the casino, Club Centaur (players’ club), dining, and special events and promotions. Web visitors can get a sneak peek of everything Hoosier Park will offer in advance of its official opening in early June.
The website captures Hoosier Park’s goal to appeal to a broad range of audiences. Jim Brown, general manager of gaming, said, “Our atmosphere offers something for everyone. The addition of round-the-clock Vegas-style casino action, live entertainment, eclectic dining, along with the first-class horse racing we already offered, makes Hoosier Park Racing & Casino the first truly complete entertainment destination of its type in the state. When we say ‘We will thrill you!’ it’s not just a catchy slogan, it’s a promise indicative of the experience we will deliver to our visitors each and every day.”
“Key to everything is our brand essence,” added Rick Moore, general manager of racing. “We’ve worked hard to integrate racing and gaming, so we provide a seamless environment that offers a continuous flow of racing, gaming, entertainment and dining opportunities.”
Hoosier Park’s expansion began when legislation was passed in 2007 enabling gaming at Indiana's racetracks. Doing so will help the state’s overall economic well-being in the following areas:
· Enhancing horseracing, including agribusiness, breeding and racing at Indiana's race tracks
· Providing economic investment
· Increasing revenues paid to city, county and state government
· Creating jobs
· Expanding area tourism
· Providing property tax relief to Indiana citizens
