Monday, Sept. 1 - Labor Day - Post Time: 3 p.m.

Race 1

O’HURLEYS DANCER – Was well bet in his first start for the Warvell stable back in June. Enters off a nice bullet work.

MO DIDDLY – Could arrive on the scene late. Has a decent late burst.

WAKI BIRD – Has been competitive. Not many in here can make that claim.

SLOT MAN – The best of the rest.

9-3-8-5

Race 2

PUT UP OR – Hasn’t finished worse than third in four starts for trainer Joe Davis. Should benefit from not entering this off a layoff.

BOOTS AND SHOES – Speed has been holding so far in this early meet. Drops to the bottom level tonight.

PRIZED CART – Hit the board in six of eight since joining the Manley stable. Draws the rail and should be part of the mix.

CHIEF WATERBURY – A nice fit at this level.

8-4-1-3

Race 3

B ISFORBUNNY – Has a ton of early speed, but tends to falter late. Will benefit from the shorter distance and the speed-favoring track. May need a start off the layoff, but the regular workouts are a plus.

JOLIN ROSE – Impressive debut winner. In restricted stakes action she drew post 12 on the slop and never factored. Look for a return to something similar to her maiden-breaking win.

MAXY’S GOLD – Has been fairly competitive against restricted company. Nice price play.

SHE’S A SASSI BIRD – Could pass a few late.

1-8-3-2

Race 4

QSAR – Much the best winner in three of four starts since joining the Martinez stable. Big question is if that success can carry over to the dirt.

FATHER ART – Impressive starter allowance winner at Ellis Park. Will look to take this gate to wire.

CAIMAN – With a decent amount of early speed in here look for this 7yo to take advantage late.

DERRICK – Racing well this year. May need a start off the layoff.

9-5-2-1

Race 5

Wide open restricted allowance. Anyone has a shot at finding the winner’s circle.

BERNIE’S BOY – Likely won’t be lucky enough to see 20-1 come post time. High-percentage trainer Greg Foley makes a rare Hoosier Park visit with this nicely bred son of Presidential Order.

O’CHARLIE – Trainer Barb McBride is off to a hot Hoosier Park start after putting together a solid Ellis Park campaign. This 4yo gelding has seen much of his success come on the Hoosier Park oval. Should be a factor.

MOONSHINE STILL – Always part of the mix. Could win this.

OAK RICH – Should be closing the gap late.

7-4-8-2

Race 6

EGGEMOGGIN REACH – A nice fit at this bottom restricted claiming level. But at this level anything can happen.

PROUD JUSTICE – Owner Merrill Roberts hands over training duties to Greg Wolfe this meet. Had been fairly competitive at the restricted allowance level. Adds Mojica and drops several levels today.

I RULE YOU FOOL – Finished the ’07 Hoo meet with exacta finishes in his last three races. Could hold on for a top-three finish.

BIDE A WEE RAINBOW – A nice price play on the bottom of your ticket. We’ve seen this one pull a 46-1 upset last year.

1-2-4-10

Race 7

Race 8

STAKE THE GATE

ROLLINONWALLSTREET

BOLD N GROOVY

4-7-2-3

Race 9

Another tough one. Anyone in here could steal a win.

SUPERIOR COURT – There is quite a bit of early speed in here. Look for this mare to take advantage late.

KATHY’S LIL CAT – Should be a factor at this level.

CLASSIC DEVIL / MISS SYDNEY – One of these two should be able to hit the board.

HEAVENLY TRICK – Capable.

3-2-1/1A-6

Race 10

FUNNY ITS EASY – Will be tough to beat at this bottom restricted claiming level.

MY GAL FLO – Nice late spurt. Could get up late at a decent price.

MY TURN TO DREAM – Should get passed late.

C’EST SA BONA – Playable at this level.
