Showcase Showdown Every Saturday

Hoosier Park Racing and Casino is kicking off the new thrilling experience that will be offered on Saturdays Sept. 12 through Oct. 17. The $50,000 Twice is Right Showcase Showdown will consist of a series of weekly slot tournaments for Elite members and qualified guests (Check with Club Centaur for eligibility). The event will bypass Indiana Derby Day Saturday, Oct. 3
Two rounds for each tournament are scheduled per day. Round one will consist of 24 sessions divided into two periods. Twenty participants with the highest scores from round one will return to compete in round two at approximately 10:15 p.m. Each tournament will consist of a maximum of 20 participants per session. An estimated 480 participants will play each Saturday.
Elite members and qualified guests are eligible to play one session per period for a maximum of two sessions per day. Period one will be held from 4 until 6:45 p.m. Period two will be held from 7 until 9:45 p.m. There is no entry fee for the tournaments. To be eligible for participation, guests must be an Elite Club Centaur Rewards member or qualify based of historical rated play at the discretion of Hoosier Park Racing and Casino. Participants may play twice and keep their top score. Each week, the top 20 contestants spin off at 10:15 p.m. for their position in the Showcase Showdown. Each tournament day, all scores at the end of round two will be calculated from high to low. $10,000 in merchandise and free casino cash will be shared amongst the 20 qualifiers from round two. The top five participants each tournament day will receive prizes in the form of Showcase Dollars. Showcase Dollars are redeemable for Showcase Merchandise such as fabulous trips, home furnishings, electronics, shopping sprees, cash and more.
Elite members can also enjoy the Elite Tailgater party. Members can participate in the party in the High Limit gaming area Saturdays between 7 and 10 p.m. Each member could win football tickets to the next home game. A complete list of rules for the drawings are available at the Club Centaur Rewards Center located either on the casino floor or on the Terrace.
