Cowboy Mouth To Perform on Casino Floor
Cowboy Mouth, the quintessential New Orleans rock and roll band, will perform at Hoosier Park Racing and Casino Friday, Oct. 23 and Saturday, Oct. 24. The 8 p.m. free performance both evenings will be held on the casino floor. All guests must be 21 years of age or older to enter the casino.
Headed by drummer and lead singer Fred LeBlanc, Cowboy Mouth presents approximately 200 shows per year and has released a dozen records. They have performed on “The Ellen Degeneres Show,” “Live with Regis and Kelly,” “The Late Show with Craig Kilborn,” and had music featured on the film “The Underneath.”
LeBlanc has written many of Cowboy Mouth’s noteworthy songs such as “How Do You Tell Someone,” “Love of my Life,” and “Take Me Back to New Orleans.” Cowboy Mouth is known for their live shows, performing to more than eight million people. They recently took their show to Iraq and Kuwait in March 2009 for a two-week tour of military bases to entertain troops.
