HBPA Laptop Giveaway To College Students Sunday
The Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association (HBPA) will offer a special laptop giveaway Sunday, Oct. 18 during the racing program. Registration begins at noon at a designated table on the Terrace level near Club Centaur Rewards Center. All entrants must be 18 years of age or older and present valid college identification to qualify for the laptop giveaway.
Ten Toshiba laptops will be drawn following the first 10 races on the program. Racing begins at 12:45 p.m. and the final laptop giveaway of the day will be drawn at approximately 4:40 p.m. Winners’ names will be drawn following each race. Each winner must be present to win and will have 5 minutes to report to the winner’s circle to claim their prize. If no winner is present, another name will be drawn until a winner claims their prize.
The laptops include blue covers and 15 inch screens. Each one is loaded with a Microsoft package, including Windows and Word.
